Environmental Sustainability

Environmental sustainability refers to efforts to maintain the balance of the ecosystem
and to maintain natural resources. One of the goals for this is so that nature could be used by
the current generation without sacrificing the needs of future generations. Now, what things
that we can do to protect the needs for the future generations. To sustain the environment
involves practices such as, sustainable management of natural resources, protection of natural
habitats, and so much more. These things that people can do is a very important to protect our
environment.

There are many negative impacts that is destroying or ruining our earth.
Environmental sustainability also includes efforts to reduce the negative impacts of human
activities that are destroying our environment. Some of these negative impacts are: pollution,
deforestation, and climate change. We could reduce these impacts on our earth by also
reducing the bad activities that we’ve done that result onto these bad impacts.

Now, let’s see one of the things that could sustain our environment, maintaining the
ecosystem balance. First is to protect natural habitats. We need to protect the natural habitats
on earth such as forests, wetlands, and coral reefs because it’s important for maintaining
biodiversity. There is also pollution that we need to reduce to protect our environment.
Pollutions are one of the things that we have, well, made for these past decades. We used
vehicles and things that produces smoke that is ruining the air and our earth. We need to
breathe fresh air, right? So, we also need to reduce pollution by maybe using less things that
produces bad smoke in order to achieve breathing fresh and safe air. Other than the people,
government also has to be involved in this. Governments must implement and enforce
regulations that support ecosystem protection.

But, at last, all of us needs to be involved in this. We need to protect and save our
environment, our earth. If we keep on doing bad things that results into something bad
happening to our environment, then our environment will soon die. So, to achieve our goal of
not sacrificing the needs of future generations, we need to protect our environment, so it
could sustain and the earth could be a better place for us and future generations.
